Profª Drª Maria Imaculada Zucchi
Professor and Researcher
Undergraduated in Biological Sciences in the State University of Campinas (1995), Master's in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) in the Luiz de Queiroz School of Agriculture (1998), PhD in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) also in the School of Agriculture Agriculture Luiz de Queiroz (2003) and Postdoctoral at the Univesity of Illlinois - Urbana-Champaign - USA (2016). Scientific researcher at Instituto Agronômico de Campinas and professor accredited at State University of Campinas - São Paulo, Brazil. She has experience in the field of agronomy, with an emphasis on Population Genetics, working mainly on the following areas: population genomics, genetic diversity, new generation sequencing (NGS). Focus her studies on insect pests populations, agricultural pollinators and native tree species.

Our research group is formed by professionals and students of genetics, genomics, bioinformatics and ecology areas, with projects focus on the brazilian biomes species, as well as in agricultural pest insects and native pollinators.
